‼️UPDATE: FBI Releases Photos of Person of Interest in Charlie Kirk Shooting Manhunt

Source: Federal Bureau of Investigation

The FBI on Thursday afternoon published photos on its official website and Facebook page of a person of interest in the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, urging the public to help identify him. A reward of up to $100,000 has been offered for tips leading to an arrest. (FBI via ABC News)

The images show a man in a baseball cap, sunglasses, and a dark long-sleeve shirt, captured on security cameras in a stairwell near the scene. Authorities caution that the individual has not been declared a suspect but is wanted for questioning.

Kirk, 31, was fatally shot on September 10, 2025, while hosting a campus event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. Police say the shooter fired a single round from a rooftop, then fled through a wooded area. A bolt-action rifle, palm print, and shoe impression were recovered nearby. (The Guardian)

Two individuals were briefly detained but later released after investigators determined they were not connected to the attack. The manhunt remains active, with federal and local authorities working jointly. (AP News)

Authorities have not disclosed a possible motive, though investigators believe the assailant is “college-aged” and may have blended in with students.

The FBI is asking anyone with information to contact their tip line or the nearest field office.
